to Langley and beat the
TWU Spartans on their
home field 3—2. Melissa
Perovich, Andrea Farquar
and Laura Finan notched
goals for Douglas.
Saturday, Douglas marched
into Burnaby and
massacred BCIT 40,
Andrea Farquar (again),
Jennifer Hoavanes and
Shannon McDonald (2)
hit the back of the net as the Royals rolled.

The men’s soccer team did not fare as well on Friday as they dropped a
tough 2—I match to the TWU Spartans. Saturday brought better fortunes
for the Royals as they blanked BCIT 2-0. Luke Hogan tallied both goals
and Rob Johnson pitched his second shutout of the year as Douglas
improved to third in the BCCAA.
Rugby
Saturday, the men’s rugby team took on the Vancouver Rowing Club, but
were overmatched, losing 22—7. Richie Kozak ran in the only try for
Douglas.
