DOUGLAS COLLEGE BASKETBALL TEAM

The Douglas Basketball Team went down to defeat to U.B.C. on
Saturday night, November 16. Douglas College 66 -—- U.B.C. 85.

At half time Douglas was leading by 7 points, 46 - 39 but the

skyscrapers on the U.B.C. team just wore our boys out. Also,

our big gun Lee Stevens got three fouls in the first minutes

of plav. Lee always scores in the double figures for us. Saturday Stevens
only scored 2 points.

Kim O'Leary had one hell of a good night doing his thing he put in
31 points. (High point man for Douglas!) Dave Baydala had 8 points,
Mike Dendvs had 8 points, Ralph Switch had 10 points for the

night and played a great game.

The thing that killed our tean was the skyscrapers on the U.B.C.
Team but that"s the name of the game. I know we will do fine in

the Totem Conference. Our next game will be on November 27 with the
Columbia Bible Institute - away.
