A highlight this year will be the Flea Market. Local resi- dents, along with Douglas College students and employees, will be invited to donate goods and to drop by the concourse to to B.C. Award-winning poet, Lorna Crozier, is this year’s Writer in Residence at Douglas College, instructor Dale Zieroth recently announced. Crozier, a native of Sas- katchewan, won first prize in the CBC literary contest last year. She has also been nominated for the Governor General’s Award. Zieroth describes her collec- tion of poems, Angels of Flesh, Angels of Silence, as "witty, in- timate and provocative." “This is a great opportunity for Lower Mainland readers to hear one of Canada’s finest," Zieroth said. She will also give two talks on Canadian literature. Her residency is co-sponsored by Douglas College, the Canada Council, and ICL Food Services through the Douglas College Foundation.
