A description and a schedule for these orientations is given below. If you know of anyone who would benefit by participating in an orientation session please refer them to C.P. & S. to pre-register, or for further information. An orientation to the Career Resource Centre provides an opportunity for Douglas College students, prospective students or members of the community to locate and use reference materials in the Centre. With the assistance of an academic advisor participants will: a. receive a general introduction to the Centre's resource material; b. learn where specific reference information is located; c. learn to use specfic reference information in order to research a Career or occupation; d. if appropriate, receive referrals to other Douglas College services or community agencies in order to achieve career or educational goals.
