The Killer's Wedding

I ama killer.

I went to the wedding of
another killer. We both went to
the wedding and there was other
killers too. I believe it was the
only wedding that has been full
of killers. You might wonder why
a killer gets married, since a
killer is cold blooded. Well, I
don't know either. I just know I
had to go.

In the morning, I got up
and got dressed. Also, as usual I
put my gun into the pocket of
my coat. Being a killer has to be

a hard time because no one
wanted to move, never mind
hiring us to kill people. Why?
Because it was Christmas! So, we
had no customers. During the
winter, killers have no difference
with unemployed people, except
we can’t apply for social welfare.
We also didn’t have a union to
bargain for some benefits.
Personally, I have never heard
about a “Union of Killers,” have
you? Even if we are not killers, I
still don’t think it is a good idea
to get married. Marriage is a
huge decision and investment.
You are going spend your whole

life with one person, giving not
only time, but also love. If you
love someone, you have to pay a
lot of attention to this person.
Can you do that? Actually, love
is not only attention, it also
includes something else, but I
don't know what that is. Even
normal people have a hard time
answering this question, never
mind us killers. How can we
answer this question? Anyway, I
thought a killer getting married
was a ridiculous idea.

When I arrived at the
wedding, I saw that many killers
were already there. Many people

were wearing sunglasses. Timing
is véry important for killers. I
was not late. We didn’t talk to
each other. I didn’t know those
people. Killers never talk to
anyone, except to their custom-
ers. We talk a lot to persuade a
customer to kill other people. I
truly believe that if I was not
employed as a killer I could be a
good salesperson.

The groom was standing in
the front, waiting for the bride.
His eyes were filled with joy; it
seems that he really understood
what he was doing. I think he
was a fool. His gestures told us

that he was waiting for today
for a long time. What a fool!
Every killer knew he was happ
from his smiling face. Killers d
not smile. A smiling killer and
group of killers who have no
emotions on their faces is a
contrasting picture. Obviously,
the groom paid attention to t
bride. I knew it was the perfe
time for me to do what I had
come to do. So, I took out my
gun and finished the job.

 

_» a 24 hour job, like working at 7-
Eleven. For sure, I have never
forgotten my sunglasses, which I
have been wearing since the first
day I became a killer. Yes, I look
just like a killer you see in the
movies. I believe some killers
also have a part time job, of
giving information to directors.
Anyway, I was ready to go.

On the way to the wedding
I wondered if a killer could get
married. Actually, killers are
always in danger. Killers never
know their future. Even they
cannot take care of themselves.
For example, last winter we had

it ina lot of people. They try harder and harder, and want more and more.

But the further they go, the more unhappy they are.

the less at peace they are.”
