Mad Hatter Page 4 Casino Night And a cold night it was! The bar area was considerably warmer so most people elected to have a drink rather than gamble. But our volunteers braved the sub-zero temperatures and never left their posts: Cashiers Heather Koble and Marlene Howie did a superb job. Merrilyn Houlihan ran the bar more efficiently than most businesses. Charlotte Pirart (West Coast Activity magazine) spent her entire evening assisting. Steve Beauchamp (men's Basketball head coach) operated the best P wheel I've ever seen. Boxing coaches Terry Copeland and Merv Seely helped for the entire night as well. Rob Vail and our wrestling team along with Uniguard did a terrific job with security. Casino equipment was supplied by the Great Canadian Casino Co., who has really nice tables and wheels. | am told it encourages people to spend their money and since | easily lost $25, this is doubtessly true. The only big winner | saw was Pat Thomasson - way to go Pat!!
