invites applications for the position of

COORDINATOR, CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR WOMEN

Appointed jointly by the Faculty of Interdisciplinary
Studies and Continuing Education, the Coordinator of Continuing
Education Programs for Women will be responsible for:

- Identifying educational needs most appropriately
served by Simon Fraser University

- Developing special educational activities that assist
women to enter university degree programs at various
levels

- Designing and managing non-degree courses and seminars
that assist women to acquire desired skills and
understandings

Desired qualifications include: successful experience in
planning and managing continuing education programs; a
graduate degree, preferably in the Social Sciences; knowledge
of the aspirations and problems of adult women.

The appointment will be for one year only, with possibility
of renewal, with salary dependent on qualifications. Duties
will commence September 1, 1974, or shortly thereafter.
