If you’re into the Fox crowd, then you’ll probably want to check out the

Roxy tonight. Pop-punk up and comers A Frosty Comet are rocking a show
supported by A Name Unheard which should be a pretty good party place for
the Granville-goers.

¢ Thursday, March 25
The Rickshaw Theatre is the place to be tonight if you feel like skankin’ your
pants off! Local group The Valuables have the pleasure of warming up the
stage for ska legends The Slackers. Tickets are 25 bucks and you should plan
on getting them in advanced!

e Friday, March 26
If you know anything about this group, then you’ve probably been waiting
for this show for some time. Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head are doing a
set at UBC’s Pit Pub for all the crazed electro-pop fans in west Van who feel
like partying post-secondary style. It’s only $12, and the beer is usually pretty
cheap, so you can’t lose really. 7

¢ Saturday, March 27
The best of 1960s and ‘70s cover bands are at it again, this time back at
their original home, Pub 340. The Unknown Soldiers (Doors cover band),
Crazy Diamonds (Pink Floyd tribute) and Midnight Lightning (Hendrix re-
animators) are simply put one of the best damned blasts from the past that you
will ever experience. Remember your tie-dye, man!
