The National Institute on Mental Retardation offers two types of awards to
Students entering or pursuing graduate studies at a Canadian University and
planning to pursue a career in the field of Mental Retardation in Canada.

Candidates may be selected from any area of study within the field of mental
retardation, however special consideration will be given to those whose
studies relate to the following areas:

* Current trends in programming--
specifically those reflecting the con-

* Organization Dynamics

 

 

* Comprehensive Human Service cept of normalization as it relates to
System Planning changing needs in human services
TYPE A

 

Bursary Support
VALUE: $1,500

plus a travel and training award to attend a one-week period
of orientation at the National Institute on Mental Retarda-
tion in August 1975

TERM OF AWARD: 1975 - 1976 academic year
CONDITIONS: Pursuing graduate studies in Canada

Announcement of awards will be made by: MARCH 1, 1975
