Colleen Tosin Editor Local 4800 Employment Conference The Centre for Non-Traditional Unemployed will be hosting the 1985 Redefining Work/Redefining Employment Conference on November 23 & 24 at Douglas College. Current unemployment levels are reflective of rapid social and economic change. Where we are going and whatskills we will need for employment are issues that must be examined. The 1985 Conference offers a timely look at CURRENT AND NEAR FUTURE TRENDS in the workplace. Interactive seminars and workshops focus speci- fically on skill development and workplace concerns. A number of featured guests including Bill Day, will speak on topics relating to employment. Setting the stage for the Conference is FUTUREWORKS - a revue in 5 parts, created and performed by the Non-Traditional Unemployed.
