FALL 1979 GRADE SUBMISSION AND EXAMINATION SCHEDULE At the College-wide Curriculum Committee meeting September 26, 1979, the following recommendation from the Admissions Office was received: Le. Cancel the very last day of classes (for most courses) Friday, - December 14, 1979; Ae Dispense with the practice of grade verification by Principals and Vice-Principals before grades are sent.* After discussion, the following motion was passed: THAT we adopt the changes to the examination schedule as outlined above with the following proposed schedule: ae Friday, December 14 Monday, December 17 Tuesday, December 18 Wednesday, December 19 Thursday, December 20 a Grades Due (a) Courses without a final exam - by noon on Thursday, December 20 to the office of the Principal of the campus upon which the course was taught. (b) Courses with a final exam - by 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 1980 to the office of the Principal of the campus upon which the course was taught. CHANGE IN FINAL COMPLETE WITHDRAWAL DEADLINE The following recommendation from the Admissions Office on a change in the final complete withdrawal deadline effective Spring Semester 1980 was approved by Management Committee October 16, 1979: ds That the complete withdrawal deadline date from all classes be the end of the twelfth week of instruction (i.e. four weeks after mid- term evaluation and three weeks before classes end and examinations begin) and, for students in programs which are unrelated to a 16-week semester, that the deadline for complete withdrawal be the date by which four-fifths of the instruction has been completed. 2 That grade cards and class lists be available to instructors in all courses by the Monday of the last week of instruction. -...-Marilyn Smith = cake
