MARYA FIAMENGO has written two books of poetry:

The Quality of Halves and The Silt of Iron

 

(illustrated by Jack Shadbolt). From the lyrical,
romantic voice that characterized her early work,
she has moved to a harder, more direct, often satiric

poetry treating public rather than private concerns.
