Counselling Back to Normal

After two years of irregular cover-
age, the counsellors are pleased

to announce that all four full-time
counsellors are back in service
this year. We are eager to resume
our past services to the college
community and have plans to initiate
some new ones.

UBC Counselling Team

The UBC Counselling team will

be operating once again this year
at Douglas College as an adjunct
to the Counselling Department.
The team consists of six students
working at the master's and doc-
toral level under the supervision
of Dr. Norm Admundson. Their
schedule will be:

- Thursdays (0900 to 1630 hours)
- Commencing Sept. 27 to Apr. 30/85

Referrals for individual counsel-
ling and workshops should be chan-
neled through the Douglas College
Counsellors

 

Student Finance and Placement

Office Hours

Due to staffing problems, we are
forced to make an adjustment to
our office hours.

Our office hours are as follows:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Friday —- 1030 to 1630 hours

Thursday - 1300 to 1630 hours

Please respect our "office closed"
hours, as this is the time we

use to catch up on paperwork
necessary to complete processing
and releasing loans, bursaries,
grants, etc.

Paper Chase Correction

In the previous issue of the

Mad Hatter it was stated that
"Recyclable paper and contaminants
to be placed in ...receptacles".

PLEASE NOTE: CONTAMINANTS are NOT
to be PLACED in RECEPTACLES. Re-
ceptacles are for the containment
of the various forms of paper only.
