Haida Gwaii The CMO’s Kathy Para took in the misty sights of Haida Gwaii, aka the Queen Charlotte Islands, on a recent schooner trip up north with husband Dan. Highlights included kayaking every day, exploring ancient village sites and sampling a local delicacy—ive sea urchin roe—tight out of the water. SIDE New Westminster Staff Changes Wendy Billas has been busy in the new position of Personnel Assistant since June, while July saw the appointment of John Forbes as the new Weekend/ Evening Administrator. The Registrar’s Office welcomes Gisela Roth as Departmental Assistant, Gail Johnson and Winnie McKitrick as Reception Clerks, and Rosita Wan as Data Entry Clerk.
