PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES IN TRANSITION:
THE ENGLISH EXPERIENCE

   

  

The RPNABC has entered into a joint sponsorship with the King
Edward's Hospital fund for England to organize a study tour of
selected pyschiatric services in England. The tour will be led by
Ken Percale, Fa) “psychologist ‘who trained and worked. in the ‘British |
“Mental - Health System and who previously led a study tour in ‘1981.

Participants may select visits 1o psychiatric hospitals, forensic,
adolescent, -psychogeriatric and community agencics as well as
specialized programs such us The Atkinson-Morely Hospital Eating
Disorders Unit. Some visits will be in the South of England, the

rest in the London | area.

 

April 26 - May 17, 1986 with options to stay longer.

Costs: Approximately $1,850.00. based on present exchange
rates includes return airfare, all internal
transportation accommodation, fees, honoraria. (Canadian Funds )
