The "adult" division of the education section contains three
thousand full-time adults, and 60,000 part-time adults.

Therese Shak is eager to develop a working relationship with one
or more North American community colleges, because their philosophy
of education, and the range and type of clientele with which
they deal is very similar to that of Caritas. She is interested
in exploring ways in which the institutions can be of mutual
benefit, both at the student and faculty level. This possibly
includes a role in support of Caritas' present contracts with
the Chinese government for English language training on the Chinese
mainland.
