.Surrey, New Westminster and Richmond libraries will be changing their

Saturday hours starting September 8, 1979. The new hours for Saturdays
will be:

CAMPUS COMMUNITY CONSULTANT - LANGLEY

The Langley Campus and Continuing Education require a Campus Consultant
for the Langley Campus. The Campus Community Consultant is a key
member of the campus team delivering continuing education services to
the area served by the campus. Within the context of the campus ed-
ucational plan, the consultant works with the Campus Principal, Vice-
Princiapl(s), other community consultants and faculty to identify com-
munity needs and to plan and implement programs and courses to meet
these needs.

The major functions of the position include identifying needs for
Continuing Education in the campus region, planning and implementing
new courses and/or programs to meet these needs and involving campus
based colleagues in continuing education work. The consultant will be

appointed on a quarter-time basis, duties to begin as soon as mutually
agreeable.

ART SALE FOR THE BOAT PEOPLE

 

More than 50 prominent Canadian artists, from the East Coast to the
West Coast, are donating their works - paintings, prints, sculptures,
etc., to raise funds for the Vietnamese 'boat people". Through this
generosity of the artists, many lives will be saved.

This event is not an auction; it is a sale where the artist has set
the price of his gift, and every dollar goes without deductions to
the creation of a new life for the "boat people".

The sale will be held at the BAU-XI Gallery, 3045 Granville St.,
Sunday, Sept. 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. It has been organized
by the Tibetan Refugee Aid Society and Paul and Xisa Wong.
