Fall 1973 The Pacific Coast Pranch,of the Canadian Railroad Historical Assoctatton, Is a group of Individuals living in the greater Vancouver area who are interested In rall- ways, both past and present. After all, the 'present' soon becomes the past. The Pranch and the Assoclation are voluntary groups working without any paid officlals. Ye have much enthuslasm, some knowledge, and little money. In the winter months there are reqular monthly meetings and in the summer fleld trips and visits. The meetings this Fall will be held at the Maritime Museum, 1905 Ogden Street, Vancouver, (close to the Centennial Museum at entrance to False Creek) on the following dates, starting at 3.00 p.m.:- Thursday, 13th September 1973 “ednesday, 3rd October 1973 Thursday, 8th November 1973. A dinner and soctal evening will be held on Friday, 7th December, at the Keg 'N Cleaver Restaurant, New Westminster, which is located appropriately in the C.P.R. depot. Non-members are welcome and are encouraged to become Branch Members. Annual dues for Branch Membership are $3.00 (Jan. to Dec.). A Branch Member must also be a nattonal member of C.R.H.A. at annual dues of $2.00 (Jan. to Dec.). The principal advantage of national membership is the monthly receipt of ‘Canadian Rail’', a glossy printed magazine of some 30 pages per issue.
