Mad Hatter Page 8 A Fall Symposium On Learning Disabilities This symposium will provide an overview of learning disabilities (pre-school - adults) for concerned individuals, and para/professionals. Topics will include: recognizing learning disabilities, causes of learning disabilities, special needs of learning disabled people, the role of the clinical diagnos- tician, formal and informal assess- ment and services available. Special attention will be paid to seeking practitioners for clinical assistance. The symposium will emphasize the educational implica- tions for coping, learning, and curriculum planning.
