If Management Committee At its meeting of November 13. the College Management Committe: reviewed the protocols which have governed the operations of Management Committee for the past two years. Upon review, the committee reaffirmed these proto- cols. They are reprinted below, for your information. There have been a number of inquiries as to whether or not Management Committee meetings are considered open. As a general rule, all college committee meetings are open. The only exceptions are Special Meetings of the College Board, parts of Board Sub-Committee meetings dealing with personnel issues or matters of finance prior to public disclosure, and other meeting where the subject-matter requires them to be closed - e.g., is required to deal with an item that is not for public discussion, a closed meeting is declared, and the ex officio members are asked to leave the meeting. This occurs infrequent- ly , and is announced at Management Committee. Anyone wishing to attend a Management Committee meeting as an observer is welcome to do so.
