Dip You Know...? eee That Douglas College used to have a free time slot every Thursday from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. During this time no classes were scheduled, and all students and faculty were encouraged to use the time to attend various recitals, lectures, and club meetings. As enrolment grew, the number of course offerings were in- creased, which resulted in a greater need for class room space. The free time slot was discontinued in January 1989. @
