Badminton

Search for President

Red River Community college is
seeking a new President to pro-
vide leadership and direction for

 

More Badminton Gold

The number one B.C. badmin-
ton team, which was made up of six
Douglas College and two BCIT ath-
letes, finished third overall in the
Canadian Championships behind
Quebec and Alberta this past week
at BCIT. Sian Deng won a gold
medal in women’s singles, easily
defeating number two Quebec 11-1
and 11-3. Peter Chen won a bronze
medal in men’s singles behind Alber-
ta and Quebec, while Sharon Halpin
and Aleen Mawji took 4th place in
mixed doubles, and Trish Schill and
Kelley Wong took 4th place in
ladies’ doubles.

cated in Winnipeg with satellite
campuses throughout southeast-
ern Manitoba. The College has an
enrollment of 10,000 full-time and
20,000 part-time students, with a
staff of 740 including 500 faculty.

New Arts and Humanities Staff

We welcome Linda Stefiuk as Costume Assistant (8
‘month repeating term) and Gale Freeman as Clerk
Typist for Performing Arts (Music, Theatre, Stagecraft,
Arts Management). Gale’s position is experimental to
the end of June. J. Gresko

Updated Seniority List

To All BCGEU Members: The Personnel Department
has updated the seniority list. Please check the list
BEFORE Friday, April 6th.

Should there be an error in your seniority date, let
one of the stewards know and they will report it to the
Personnel Department on your behalf.

The new list will be posted on the union bulletin

board in the concourse — please do not remove it from
