Swirling winds and tight fairways made scoring difficult with only a handful of the golfers in the field being able to break 80. Dave Whittingdon of Cariboo College captured first place honours with rounds of 73 and 76. He was fol- lowed by BRYN PARRY of Douglas College with rounds of 74 and 77. Brian Killins of Douglas socred 83 and 80, while the third Douglas player, Fred Ledlin, came in with two rounds of 83. Team standings were: 1. SFU 476 2. Malaspina 482 3. Douglas 485 | 4. UBC 486 5. Feature #1 - A demonstration of series shots and strategies narrated by Arif Mawani, Douglas College’s head badminton coach. Feature #2 - A mixed doubles match with four of China’s best badminton players. Feature #3 - One of the Chinese players will play against two challengers.
