"We think it’s moral and ethical that every child should have the right to go to school together," she says. "That’s our goal, and we're making great strides." Holding this conference at Douglas College is appropriate, says Smith. "Douglas College is probably the best college in the lower mainland for providing specific services to handicapped people."
