Students in this 66 credit programme use a variety of commercially
available software in estimating (database and spreadsheet management),
in contract management (scheduling and spreadsheet software) and word
processing programs in a number of courses. (This curriculum is under
review - more computer-based curriculum will be introduced in the fields
of nee design, CAD (computer assisted drafting) and construction
law).

Project Title: ECOLOGY SIMULATION

Description:

Software: | Ecological modelling

Hardware: Apple Ile
As a required lab assignment, students use this programme to learn
about population dynamics. The programme simulates mortality rates,
birth rates, competition, initial population size, etc. on a variety
of possible animal species.
