Mad Hatter Page 6 - WANTED PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER Non-profit women's society, working on issues related to labour force participation, technological change and economic development for women is seeking a PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER. Responsibilities include: - setting up an office (Burnaby) and resource base - developing and submitting project proposals to appropriate funding sources - coordinating a number of concurrent projects - working closely with an active Board of Directors to further the work of the Society - liaison with community and women's organizations This position will require a wide range of skills including: the ability to work collectively within a feminist perspective - community advocacy skills - fundraising experience - a knowledge of key employment and education institutions in B.C, - organizational and administrative skills - knowledge of patterns and problems of women's participation in labour force and education Terms of employment (subject to budget approval) Minimum - June 15 - March 31, 1985 - Part-time work (approximately 3 days a week) - salary $1300.00 monthly (job may become full-time and ongoing if funds are available) Please respond in writing to: Women's Skills Development Society c/o 3241 Dieppe Drive Vancouver, B.C.
