Unfortunately for Douglas, the Christmas layoff seemed to affect them more than it did CBI, as the latter won the game, 7-1. Team Douglas was never in the game, with its lone goal being scored by Ron Hovey, assisted by Len Millis. The team's next game was scheduled to be played against Trinity Western College at Aldergrove on Jan. 29 but, due to a mixup, the TWC team didn't show up and Douglas won by default. If possible, the game will be re-scheduled at a later date but, in the nesntine, Douglas has been awarded 2 points. On Feb. 5, TWC did appear at Aldergrove as scheduled but probably wished they hadn't as Team Douglas easily won, 6-2. Scoring for Douglas were Al Lewis (assisted by Gene Guiricich), Roy Moyer (assisted by Don Funk and Brian Erickson), Gene Guiricich (assisted by Al Lewis and Ron Ames), Al Lewis (assisted by Ron Ames), Ron Hovey (assisted by Ken Zakala and Keith Mackenzie) and Al Lewis (assisted by Ken Zakala and Ron Ames).
