INSIDE DOUGLAS COLLEGE / September 3, 1991 Staff profile Building Service Worker Lance Hurst. What's the angle on Lance Hurst? For one thing, he loves to fish. "It’s my number one hobby," said the Building Service Worker, who came to Douglas College eight years ago first on a part-time basis, and later full-time. His passion for landing a big trophy for the rec-room wall led him into working as a guide on rivers throughout the province. The 31-year-old Hurst was born in Burnaby and attended New Westminster Senior Secondary. "The best things about my job are the guys | work with, and meeting lots of people," he said. His other hobby is his children. Daughter Rachel is three years old, and he'll soon be devoting a little more time to that hobby. His wife Fulvia is ex- pecting their second child in six weeks. "I love my kids," said Hurst. & In Memoriam It is with regret and sorrow that | announce the passing of Bill Rudd on Monday, August 19, 1991.
