In other words, it's a big place, and keeping the campus in reasonably tidy condition is often more than the five full-time Building Service Workers (BSW's) can manage. Neil Douglas, Stephen Sales, Jack Kelly, Gary Thind and Bob Gordon practically live their shifts in one or more of the 27 washroom facilities at the permanent campus, says their supervisor Ken McCoy. "There just isn't enough time in the day for those guys to complete every single piece of work that needs doing,” says McCoy, the Manager of Security and Building Services. "They really have to put in an extra effort." Receiving duties, investigating plumbing, electrical, elevator and other faults and handling complaints are all extra parts of the service worker's routines.
