INSIDE DOUGLAS COLLEGE / DECEMBER 19, 1989 ce en briefs A VOTE OF THANKS + I would like to say thank you to our stewards for the work they did during the strike. There is always more going on behind the scenes than we are aware of. Payroll did a fantastic job push- ing to get cheques done before and after the strike, I’m sure I’m speak- ing for everyone when I say it is very much appreciated. Santa will remember you. Also, to those in management who made arrange- ments for us to get a cheque at the beginning of the strike and to some of the faculty who took time to think and act to try and alleviate the hardship being experienced by the BCGEU members. Thanks everyone and a MERRY CHRISTMAS. Anne Fenton HAPPY HOLIDAYS + We would like to thank the Psychiatric Nursing Faculty & Director for their truly generous Christmas presentation. In light of what we've all been through this past month, it’s heartwarming to know that the real caring didn’t quit. Merry Christmas to you all!
