This estate was formerly owned by two Leiutenant Governors of B.C., Eric Hamber and Col. Clarence Wallace. It contains an imposing house on a rocky outcrop amidst a spectacular landscape of forest, lake and mountainside. The Institute's proposal would provide a centre of historical, cultural and environmental interest for educational tours and recreational visits. However, other interests see advantages in using the area for hous- ing or for hunting. It is, therefore, of the greatest importance that members of the public attend the public meeting on December 12, 7:30 p.m., in the theatre, Centennial School, 570 Poirier Street, Coquitlam. If you are unable to attend but wish to contribute your views, please call me at Surrey Campus (Local 284) and ask for a Minnekhada Questionnaire. The completed form should be returned to my office before December 12. I will then submit the completed questionnaires at the public meeting. Copies of the Douglas College proposal will also be supplied to those interested. -....-Barry Leach FOR SALE Two G78-15 Goodyear summer radial tires for sale. 50% tread left. . $35.00 each.
