RE: NOTE IN THE DEC. 16 MAD HATTER ON EXPENSE ACCOUNTS

I would like to express my apologies to the Douglas College administration
for the embarrassment caused them by my note in the Mad Hatter

of Dec. 16, 1974 which seems to attack their treatment of part

time and non-faculty in the matter of expense accounts. In the

case discussed in the note CE agents of the college did agree to

pay me expenses, including babysitting, for speaking for Douglas
College, October 30, 1974 and payment has now been received. However,
the official statement of the college on such matters in the Mad
Hatter did not come until after October 30, 1974 and therefore I

took it the wrong way and replied hastily to it.
