The Douglas Students’ Union shares your
disappointment that the U-Pass Agreement
has not been finalized with Translink and the
discounted transit pass is therefore not
available to Douglas Students this summer.

The DSU worked hard to make students’ (who
voted 94% in favour of the U-Pass) voice heard
and pushed for an earlier implementation.

It appears that the institutions and Translink

are close to finalizing the agreement and we
hope that Douglas will be able to meet its new
implementation date of September 2011. The
DSU continues to advocate on behalf of
students for the earliest possible implementation
