Study Tours | Two unique study tours to Japan have been | made available in 1985 for teachers of all levels and backgrounds thanks to the community Programs and Services division of Douglas College in New Westminster, B.C The tours, both scheduled for departure in! July, will look at Japanese Language and Culture, as well as the school systems and educational conditions in Japan. The first, the Teachers! Educational Study Tour of Japan, will leave July 6 for a 12 day visit, including a two-day stopover to Expo '85 in Tsukuba Science City. The program fee of $1,950 includes airfare and accommodations, and $450 is tax deductible The Language and Study Tour of Japan departs July 27 for a one-month visit to Kobe where participants will study the Japanese language while living with a Japanese family. Various weekday trips are scheduled in this exciting package with an optional visit to Expo '85 planned. The program fee for the Lanquage and Study Tour of Japan is $2,495, including a $850 tax deduction for Educational expenses. For more information contact the Community Programs and Services Division.
