Barry Leach Institute of Environmental Studies COME TO A MEETING REACTIVATE A S.P.E.C. branch in Surrey. S.P.E.C. is B.C.'s oldest and largest envir- onmental organization. It was once active in Canada's second largest municipality, however, has temporarily faded away. There is a need for any community to come to grips with the new reality of energy resources, and surely Surrey citizens have become enough alarmed about their area being used as a radioactive dump. These subjects are two excellent reasons why Surrey needs such an organization to supplement their institutional responses to environmental irresponsibilities. A meeting will be held on the SURREY CAMPUS, ROOM # 703, October 11, 1978, 7 TO 11 PM. A
