POSITION FUNCTION

This senior position in a small staff is responsible for: developing
and implementing a comprehensive research plan for the post-secondary
educational system of British Columbia initiating and managing a
review and major revision of all aspects of the complex Management
Information System for post-secondary education and on-going
development and management of the procedures and systems which produce
the statistical and analytical reports used to make all major policy
decisions in the post-secondary system. This position provides
special expertise on post-secondary educational policy and must ensure
Speedy access to the many and complex sources of data required for
Cabinet, Treasury Board and Ministerial decisions.
