Douglas hosts NBA's Wheelchair League Tournament Douglas College will play host to some of the best wheelchair basketball players in the world as they battle it out on the court in the National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) League Tournament. This program, a part of the Douglas College Wheelchair Basketball Program, is presented in partnership with the BC Wheelchair Basketball Society and the HSBC Classic. The tournament features Team BC, the 2007 National Champions, made up of current and past Douglas College student-athletes Sunera Samarakoon, Ross MacDonald and Brian McLennon. National team players include Patrick Anderson, Jaimie Borisoff, Richard Peter, and Robert Hedges. BC Provincial Team players include Erik Hagreen and Richard Poon. ‘The tournament runs from November 30 — December 2 at the New Westminster Campus. Admission is $2 for individuals or $5 for a family pass. Your student number is still active. * you are a College employee with a student number but you did not attend classes or apply for admission for the Fall 2006, Winter 2007 or Summer 2007 semesters. Complete an Application for Readmission form to reactivate your student number. Identify that you are a college employee when reapplying. + you are a College employee who has not yet taken academic courses at Douglas College. Complete an Application for Admission form and return it to the Registrar's Office as soon as possible. Identify that you are a College employee when applying.
