This is further to my letter to you of August 30

in which I asked for your cooperation in finding a Dean of
Instruction.

It is apparent now that we will not be able to
appoint a new Dean by November 1. We are now hoping for
an appointment which would permit the new Dean to assume
duties on January 1, 1974.

We are still accepting applications, and we are
at work doing the initial screening. I would appreciate
your making this information known to interested parties
within your institution.
