Carlton Banks
Carlton Banks, played by Alfonso
Ribeiro, was the endearing type

of nerd on Fresh Prince of Bel-

Air. Since his days of bad dancing
and sweater vests, Ribeiro has

kept a pretty low profile. He has
been married once, divorced once
and now has a daughter named
Sienna. It seems the actor has taken
an interest in car racing and is a
two-time winner of Toyota Pro/
Celebrity Race (1994 and 1995)
and has been known to take part in
Gumball 3000 which is a 5000 km
international rally which has been
highly controversial due to that

fact that it usually turns into a large
international illegal street race (and
led to a fatal collision last year).
Love-life-wise, Ribeiro is currently
dating a pin-up-type girl WWE
diva Tiffany. If you are interested in
meeting this has-been, Ribeiro is set
to make an appearance at Zanzibar
nightclub in Derby, England on
September 28" of this year.

   

 

 

Gilligan

Even if it was before your time
almost everyone knows Gilligan
from Gilligan's Island and his
quirky ways. Gilligan was played
by Bob Denver, who passed away
on September 7" at 70 years of
age due to complications from
throat surgery. Since appearing on
Gilligan’s Island, Denver starred
in a few more TV shows that were
not very well received, except for
by faithful fans from his Gilligan’s
days. Then, in 1998 Denver was
arrested for having the best kind
of parcel delivered to his house:
marijuana.

At first he claimed a former
cast mate (Dawn Wells) sent it to
him, but then refused to name her in
court, and said instead that it must
have been some crazy fan; so after
finding more drug paraphernalia in
his home, the court handed him six
months probation. Denver enjoyed
the last few years of his life doing
a stint as an FM radio personality
at an oldies station run by him and
his wife.

 

 

 

 

Screech

Samuel “Screech” Powers. Yes,
that annoying kid off Saved By The
Bell. You'd be surprised what the
obnoxious Dustin Diamond has
been involved with since his days
on the show. After demonstrating
his shitty attitude on celebrity fit
club (pretty much an older version
of The Biggest Loser), quitting

in the middle of challenges and
antagonizing cast mates, he took
legal action to try and take over the
alternately owned dustindiamond.
com. Why? Because fans of the
male variety were posting play-
by-plays of their sexual fantasies
involving Diamond, and he didn’t
like it, not one bit. Needless to say,
he ended up being one of the first
celebrities to lose a domain name
suit. Then, he publicly battled
debt; that is before the Red Light
District Porno featuring Diamond
was released. So, if you want to see
Screech give some broad a Dirty
Sanchez, check it out.

 

 

   

 

Steve Urkel
You probably remember the ultimate
stereotypical TV nerd, Steve Urkel,
portrayed by Jaleel White on the eight-
year run sitcom Family Matters. Since
his suspender and bottle-cap glasses
wearing days, White has struck out
into many different aspects of the
entertainment business. In 1999, he
attempted to launch a new sitcom in
which he starred, co-produced and even
wrote a few episodes. However, his lack
of originality in comparison to other
shows on the network meant no more
Grown Ups after one season. White
went on to use that unique voice of his
in the animated film Quest for Camelot
as well as video game character Sonic
the Hedgehog in most of his American
TV shows. Jaleel has also since starred
in Big Fat Liar, Dreamgirls, and as

the voice of Martin Luther King Jr. in
Our Friend Martin. But to be honest,
no matter what this guy does I really
cannot see him as anyone other than
Steve Urkel.
