The common popular social game that is often found at pubs and bars all across the world and most notably in Europe, where it was originally invented, has blown up over the past couple of years. With up to 20 sections where the specific dart can land for a certain amount of points that ranges from zero to 20 along with double and triple rings, it is indeed an entertaining game to see. Whichever friend will end up as the winner with the most accumulated points at the end of the rounds is a mystery until it happens, kind of like any other sports game. The act of throwing darts against a board is fun especially when you are the person who is playing the game rather than the one who’s doing the watching, now that’s the best. But what if we can put both those scenarios into one, watching and playing darts at the same time? Well today’s your lucky day, nowadays you can get the best of both worlds; throwing darts while watching professionals do the same on the good old television. |: the act of throwing darts against Have a drink with your brews and try and land your dart in the center of the bull’s eye while swaying back and forth (because you’re a little buzzed) for the most points. A game that you and your friends can enjoy at a pub while consuming an ongoing pace of alcoholic beverages has become a sport... What are we going to see next, the popular kings’ cup and flip cup or even better, beer pong drinking games airing on TSN with full coverage and behind the scenes interviews? It could happen. Now the sound of that is a little ridiculous but if throwing a dart against a board can pass than I’m sure a team of drinking party-goers against another team of rowdy hooligans downing beers after winning or losing a game of beer pong can pass as well. It would be alot more entertaining, that’s for sure. Especially if a few of those individuals happen to be a couple of hot foxes, male or female, that’s always a bonus. Darts was first televised in Britain way back in 1962 and since then has branched out quite tremendously that there is now a US Open, Grand Slam of Darts, a World Championship, a Premier League, UK Open, Las Vegas Desert Classic, etcetera... the list goes on and on but over the years it has become increasingly more popular. If this particular game, that started in the pub back in 1962 where the pong anyone? heart of drinking is, has become a sport than any things possible.
