hoe... ee ARTS ALIVE: Investing in Our Future Youth Arts Symposium Co-Sponsored by Douglas College and the Burnaby Arts Council November 5th to 8th Douglas College Arts Alive is a symposium bringing together for the first time in B.C. all who are concerned about exciting and meaningful art opportunities for youth. Examine the issues surrounding the arts and youth today within the framework of lec- tures, debates and group discussion, performance, hands-on workshops, demonstrations, displays and an art exhibition. Kidzart in- troduces children to a wide range of art activities, with a special emphasis on self-expression and skill development. Open from 8:30 - 4:30 Friday and Satur- day, 8:30-12:30 Sunday.
