Arts Alive is a symposium bringing together for the first time in B.C. all who are
concerned about exciting and meaningful art opportunities for youth. Examine
the issues surrounding the arts and youth today within the framework of lec-
tures, debates and group discussion, performance, hands-on workshops,
demonstrations, displays and an art exhibition. Pick up a detailed conference
brochure from the Community Programs & Services office, Room 2300.

Kidzart Space Studio Theatre

A secure, art-stimulated environment for children (3-12 yrs) staffed by student in
the Early Childhood Education training program at Douglas College. Kidzart in-
troduces children to a wide range of art activities, with a special emphasis on
self-expression and skill development. Open from 8:30 - 4:30 Friday and Satur-
day, 8:30-12:30 Sunday.

Registration: $20 daily (lunch included)
