The Other Press Top 5 hottest By Tim Drake ell, it’s time for the first (and probably only) annual Other Press Top 5 hottest men and women on the planet. Chloe Bach and myself have stepped up to the plate to bring you all what we feel are two very hard hitting and well researched lists here. If you didn’t buy that (and I’m betting most of you didn’t, I can promise you that we both made sure we had the best damn pictures possible. 1) Megan Fox Could it have been anyone else? Yes, it’s been over a year since the last Transformers, and over three years since a really good Transformers, but in that time Megan Fox has consistently managed to lay her claim to the hottest woman on the planet in just about everyone’s books. In 2007, it took one scene of Fox draped over a Camaro for her to explode into pop-culture superstardom, and in 2010 it took one music video of her in the new Eminem/Rihanna smash hit “Love the way you lie” to make us all remember exactly why we fell in love with her in the first place. Sure, we all died a little inside when she married Brian Austin Green earlier this year, but Fox is firmly entrenched as an all-time sex icon that isn’t going anywhere. 2) Amber Lancaster On the hit new Much Music series The Hard Times of R.J. around the aforementioned R.J. chasing around Amber Lancaster’s character of Jenny Swanson, and it isn’t hard to see why. With supermodel looks and irresistible appeal, Lancaster makes the show must see television. Lancaster hasn’t exactly launched into the public eye just yet, but with Hard Times renewed for a second season and many more ridiculously hot moments to come for her in the series that makes a habit of putting her in Berger, much of the show revolves FEaTuRE on the planet jaw-droppingly sexy situations, expect her to become a much bigger name in 2011. 3) Olivia Wilde Olivia Wilde burst onto the mainstream radar years ago with her steamy role on The O.C., but she ensured that she would stay there in 2007 when she landed the role of the smoking Dr. Thirteen on House, which instantly made the show even hotter. Last year she _ melted the hearts of just about anyone who saw her in Year One and before 2010 is out, she’ll be co-starring in Tron: Legacy, which means we’|l be seeing it. The more Olivia Wilde, the better. Now, with a slew of high-profile movie on the horizon, including the leading female role in Jon Favreau’s summer blockbuster Cowboys and Aliens next year, Wilde is looking more and more like she’ll be one of the biggest breakout stars of 2011. 4) Diana Agron You’d be hard-pressed to fine a hotter show then Glee right now, and Agron lights it up every episode as Quinn Fabray. Back as the school’s head cheerleader and with her baby storyline wrapped up from season one, the show hasn’t held back in making her, by far, the sexiest part of the show. She recently appeared in an eye- pleasing cover shoot with several fellow Glee stars for GQ Magazine and while the parents rights groups were out in force after that, there were no problems from this corner. 5) Evangeline Lily One of the worst parts about LOST coming to an end is that we won’t get to see Lily’s Kate Austin running around saving people on the island anymore (and seriously, that was a pretty awesome part of the show). While LOST made her a household name, she hasn’t hit the movie circuit much lately. Get set for her upcoming role in Real Steel, a 2011 action film starring Hugh = Jackman. The fact is, it doesn’t really matter » what she does after LOST, she’ll always be Kate to us. 13
