"And people have to know where to put their own skills to the best use, in a situation where they'll be most comfortable." This means someone who enjoys working with people should not become a re- search assistant just because they are academically inclined, she says. "A person's work values are one of the most important aspects of what type of job they should look for," Kalef said. The workshop will also incorporate brainstorming for creative employ- ment possibilities to help focus career plan options.
