Faculty are also requested to announce this event to their students. Alan McMillan St. Mungo Exhibit All College personnel are invited to view the new exhibit which has been set up in room 3417 in the Social Sciences area. The dis- play outlines the prehistoric heritage of the Coast Salish people along the lower Fraser River. It focuses on the archaeologi- cal material recovered from the St. Mungo Cannery site, on the Fraser River in Delta (opposite Annacis Island). A major excava- tion at this site, which is slated to be destroyed by bridge construction, was funded by the B. C. Heritage Trust in 1983. The interpretive display which was prepared for the site has now been moved to the College. All members of the College community and the general public are welcome. We will try to have the room open Monday through Thursday 12-4. For access at other times, inquire at the Social Sciences office.
