Closure The Student Finance & Placement Office will be closed on Thursday, February 6th and Friday, February 7th, to allow time fora reorganization of the filing system. P. Lewis S.F.U. MBA Program Bertram Schoner, Director of Graduate Programs at $.F.U. has sent the Department brochures on their day MBA program. This program could be of interest to instructors who do not have a M.B.A. Unlike other M.B.A. programs, this program is designed to meet the needs of people who already have a broad undergraduate educa- tion in Business Administration or Commerce, and who wish to specialize in some area in depth. The program requires eight courses and a project or six courses and a thesis. If there is sufficient interest, Mr. Schoner would be happy to come out and talk to people at the College. Alternatively, he can be contacted at S.F.U. at 291-3564 and an appointment can be arranged. More information is available in the Commerce & Business Administration field base area. Display On display in the Library's upper floor is the exhibit entitled Adventure and Service: 75 Years of the Naval Service of Canada on the West Coast. It is a survey of the history of the naval Service of Canada (the Royal Canadian Navy and Maritime Command Pacific) from the creation of the Naval Service of Canada in May, 1910 to the present day. The exhibit includes approximately 50 photos, 7 specially- produced graphics, 10 artifacts and 2 models. The exhibit will be on display in the Library from now until February 21. Arts Exhibition Update The Horror Show Art Exhibition which was mounted in conjunction with the Curse of the Werewolf Theatre Production was very success- ful. Sandra Shaw, the co-ordinator, arranged for Senior Secondary art students in the college region to submit works and there was an excellent response from four schools in the college region. The New Westminster Arts Council is holding several exhibitions at the Gallery in the Park in the Centennial Lodge, Queens Park, and if students are interested, special tours can be arranged with one of the exhibiting artists in attendance. For information call Helen Dixon, 525-3244. Also, as part of EXPO the N.W. Arts Council is organizing a Banner Design competition. Applicant forms may be obtained from the Reference Section, N.W.
