Kathleen Ruff, B.C. Director of Human Rights, will give the keynote ad address at a conference on education to be held Friday, Jan. 21, at the University of B.C. The conference is Breaking the Mould, Phase Two: The Basiqs and Beyond -- Social Responsibilities of the Profess- ional Teacher. The conference is free and will run from 1 p.m. to about 6 p.m. in the Neville Scarfe building at UBC. Pre- registration is not required. Delegates may. also attend any two of 24 special workshops that have been ‘arranged by UBC faculty, students and other community organizations.
