Drivers Beware: New Westminster’s Enforcement Department has received numerous complaints and questions concerning the 3-hour parking bylaw from Douglas College students. The following section pertains to the parking limitation: "No person Shall stop or park a vehicle for longer than three hours on that portion of a street abutting a private residence including an apartment house, boarding or lodging house, group living home, row house or any other type of multiple use residential premises, not being his residence.” Knowledge Pays: The new Knowledge Network Development Fund is accepting proposals for programs targeted at the general public (children or adults). The fund is intended to encourage or support the production and/or acquisition and adaptation of educational programs for broadcast and use province-wide. Proposals are due November 30.
