eraft market celebrates
its tenth birthday when

the Burnaby Craft Market

~., hosts "A GARDEN PARTY",

© July 31 to August 3 in

This outdeor crafts and music festival
with a turn-of-the-century flavour will
offer a gala Edwardian week-end for the
whole family, with Sunday afternoon
high tea at the Burnaby Art Gallery,
band concerts and musicales on the out-
door stage overlooking Deer Lake, puppet
shows and strolling players, Japanese
kitemaking workshops, bobbin lace-making
demonstrations, and children's art
activities of all kinds.

Grand finale to each day's event's will
be a naval battle on Deer Lake, re-
enacted in spectacular fashion by the
Small Ships Society.

Hours are 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday;

10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday; 10 a.m. to
5 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Admission is

ENGLISH INSTRUCTOR - Competition #81-720

An instructor is required to teach
remedial writing, composition at the
college level and/or practical writing
to career students. Training or ex-
perience in threshold/diagnostic test-
ing of writing competence and a graduate
degree in a relevant discipline is
desirable. This is a two-year term
position.

GEOLOGY INSTRUCTOR - Competition #81-718

An instructor is required to teach first
and second semester courses in introductory
geology as well as second year courses

in sedimentology and stratigraphy.

This position is available for the 1981/

82 academic year with a possible extension
for an additional year.
