10. Provincial Board: The Act should provide for

a board of post-secondary education advisory to the

Minister of Education in the area of articulation among

the post-secondary institutions and industry and involving
budgets, continuing education and relations of post-secondary
education to the community needs... The membership of the
Advisory Board of Post-secondary Education should be drawn
from all levels of post-secondary institutions and should

include Jabour and industry.

ll. Organization of the Department of Education:

 

It was felt that the Department of Education should be
revised so that there is a Deputy Minister of Education
for the area of Kindergarten to Grade XII and a Deputy
Minister for post-secondary education. Working directly
under the Deputy Minister of Post-secondary education

should be an Associate Deputy Minister for Colleges and

an Associate Deputy Minister for Universities.
