Yogi Johl, in his first year at Douglas College and Cory Kwak, also in his first at the College. Yogi was 2nd at the Dino Open in Calgary, losing 9 - 3 to Peter Guterson, World Team Member. He won the dual meet at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma and was 2nd at the Clansman, losing 3 - 1 to Guterson in the final. GREAT WORK YOGI! Cory was the only B.C, wrestler to win his weight class in Cal- gary. He was 2nd to teammate Craig Roberts at PLU, losing 3 - 1 in the final. At the Clansman, Cory was 2nd in his pool, and 3rd overall after losing a close match to Chuck Absmud of Pacific University. Chuck is NAIA Champion and All- American.
